Saturday knitting

(No I did not knit this sock.)

Saturday was the monthly knitting meet for the Bayside Ravelry chicks... and what I like most about it is that it reminds me that there's still lots of cool crafters down this end of the world. I used to think we were in short supply on the Peninsula, so it's always nice to know that there's kindred spirits out there. I'm sure the girls must think I'm some sort of knitting phony, as I never knit at these meetings, but just seem to eat and be inspired by all the fun things everyone else is working on.

I'm having one of those decorating quandrys...oh I know it shouldn't be important, but it is. I'm trying to decide what to get to put the TV/DVD/stereo on... I need a new (or new to me) piece of furniture. Any suggestions?

You all know I LOVE Shorpy, even more when it gives me some eye candy. Maybe it's my hormones, but am I odd in finding this fellow washing his car incredibly hot?!

Something I've been wanting for a while, and you may well think I'm a bit of a knob for wanting one, is a cupcake tattoo. I know cupcake love is a bit overdone in the craft world, but what's not to love about a cupcake? Just looking at them makes me happy, and I figure that's a good enough reason for wanting one.

But what design to get? A quick trawl around the internet came up with some good pics:
