Saturday knitting

(No I did not knit this sock.)

Saturday was the monthly knitting meet for the Bayside Ravelry chicks... and what I like most about it is that it reminds me that there's still lots of cool crafters down this end of the world. I used to think we were in short supply on the Peninsula, so it's always nice to know that there's kindred spirits out there. I'm sure the girls must think I'm some sort of knitting phony, as I never knit at these meetings, but just seem to eat and be inspired by all the fun things everyone else is working on.

A few pics:
Orange sock by Tania, coloured socks by Katie, in this yarn I think.

Coveting this book now, as it looks like an easier sock knitting option.

Shelley's WIP, a cardigan. She's a marvel with the crochet hook.

I ate this. Mmm noodle-y.

Action sock knitting shot. That's Katie at work.

saw this and thought of you and lo and behold, there is even a post that is sort of relevant to link it to!
