A lot of us are kids of the 80's (I use the word "kids" loosely, as I was a teenager in the 80's) and I was chatting with a mate last night about our fave 80's movies... yep, predictably Bueller and The Breakfast Club were both popular.

A girl after my own heart! Valley Girl is my number one fav 80's movie! Fer sur like whatever. I wanted Nicolas Cage to be my boyfriend.
The Sure Thing - another goodie. I tried the pen in the can trick and it went up my nose....not the pen the drink.
I would have to add in Starman, Dead Poets Society and my number one ironing movie (if I have lots of ironing this goes on) - Dirty Dancing. Nobody puts baby in the corner......it took me about ten years to figure out what he said.
Breakfast Club, St Elmos Fire, Pretty in Pink, Sixteen Candles, Heathers, Ferris Buellers Day Off, The Dark Krystal, The Karate Kid, Labyrinth, The Lost Boys, The Neverending Story, Dream a Little Dream....funny thing is that I never watch movies anymore. It seems to have started and ended in the 80's for me!
My fave is definitely Bueller, Bueller, Bueller ...
I was born in '83...but I remember watching all of those movies! I think it carried on into the early 90s. My favourite 80s movies:
1. Dirty Dancing (I'm Swayze crazy)
2. The Goonies
3.Heathers (we used to watch this at slumber parties all the time)
4. Pump Up The Volume (Christian Slater was the shit in the 80s)
5. Poltergeist (made me wee my pants a little)
6. Ferris Bueller's Day Off (the street parade scene is the best!)
7. The Blues Brothers (just made the cut)
8. Labyrinth
9. The Dark Crystal
10. The Lost Boys
And heaps more that I can't think of right now...awesome!
