Knitting so far

Thanks to the kind souls who commented on my last post, you rock.
Here's a pic of what I'm knitting at the moment...it seems to be taking forever, I'm not sure why. But I've been spending a lot of evenings lately as a couch potato knitting away. The pattern is a Patons one, a knitted t-shirt.

I'm knitting it in Patons DK Smoothie, which, although acrylic, is nice yarn to work with. However I anticipate I will look more like a little old lady than a Roxy model when it's finished, but c'est la vie.

I took the above photo with my phone, as I discovered the digital camera out under the clothes line yesterday, being left there by Lola who had taken it and chewed every chewable part she could. Miraculously it still works, although I need to buy a new USB cord so that I can download the photos off it. Grr.

Loving Friday today, because of course, it's a long weekend! Whohoo! Maybe I'll get some more knitting done. I'm so Nanna-core.

Tinnie Girl loves Fridays too.

the Smoothie's ok, isn't it? I was pleasantly surprised, I have to say. That should look good as a tee - keep up the good nanna -work so you can bring it to next SNB.

and now I understand why there was a certain staffy free to a good home over on FB recently ;) bless the little bugger!!!!!!!!

Sounds like the poor old camera had a miraculous survival. The top is going to look fab. I wish I could knit and be all nanna-core like that too!

Hey your knitting looks stellar - wow, I am impressed. Makes me want to learn to knit properly. I am sure it won't look nana. You'll make it yours and you'll own it baby!
