Some requisite craft content

Sometimes things become so ingrained into your life that you don't even feel that they're noteworthy anymore. They just become part of you, something you do, and cease to become remarkable. I'm trying to think of a good example here, but one is escaping me. Anyway, I've got that way about crafting. Actually I've probably been that way for a good 12 months or more, but could usually get excited by things like Brown Owls or my fellow bloggers. But now I'm not really feeling the need to do any craft blogging at all. That doesn't mean I haven't been making stuff though. I've kept up a steady stream of "couch craft" over the past few months, mostly embroidery and knitting. Cleckheaton's Bamboo yarn is my friend. And Patons DK Smoothie. Many unfinished projects. A few teatowels and now working on a pillowcase. Yesterday at Spotlight I bought this yarn to make a "interesting, noice, un-ewe-usual" scarf for myself.

And cast on a pale blue bolero using the aforementioned Bamboo. I am the queen of the cast on. Shame I can't say the same about casting off.

I know what you mean about casting on... I have no fewer than 4 maybe more items on the needles at the moment. Finishing things just does not seem to be more forte...

Interesting this... could be that time of year or that time in a blogger's online life but I've felt this way for a month or two and I've seen similar comments out there. What to do? Sometimes it's great getting real life dealt with without the commentary... but then I start to miss it. :)

That yarn is most definitely noice, unusual, not common - bewwwtiful.
