Saturday lunch was the monthly meetup of the Peninsula and Bayside Rav girls, aka Stitch'n'Bitch. I must admit, I don't like that name, but I always provide the "bitching" of the meet, as I can't talk to people, eat, drink and knit at the same time. Well, I probably could, but it would go horribly wrong. So I invariably just go along and chew people's ears off. I don't know how people can knit socks and chat.
I do love knitting, but I'd never call myself a knitter. Regular followers of this blog (all 3 of you!) would recall my various posts about starting knitting projects, but note, you'll never see a post about a finished knitting project. Knitting for me is interesting and challenging, and one reason I love going to the knitting meet ups is to see other people's projects and marvel at their talent. And there was a whole lot of sock goodness on Saturday, so here's some pics for your entertainment:
Rachael's sock in progress. That knitted sleeve is a cardigan she made herself too.

socky goodness - I love the "socks in the wild" photo :)
Sock it to me!
When I saw the patterns of the other knitters, I thought they can't concentrate on talking at the same time. The orange socks look lovely and demanding.
