DIY calendar giveaway

My good mate Nelle sent me the link for this the other day, as she knew I'd love the birdies. And I think this one qualifies as "cheater craft" because all I did was print it out, bind it, and put a string on it. It's designed so that you can rip away each month as it's finished, I find that rather satisfying! I think there may well be a few of these added to Christmas presents...

Blogtoberfest giveaway winner!

Thanks to all the peeps for entering, it showed me there's lots of vintage reclaimed love out there, so I'll do another giveaway along similar lines pre-Christmas.

Mr. Random Number page came up with:

Number 9 (possibly he's a Beatles fan?)...which corresponds with Anja! So all these sweet things are off to Slovenia. Congratulations!

PS. Because I was having fun with random numbers, there's a runner up prize containing something handmade, vintage and edible...that goes to number 6: The Essess. I'll update with a pic when I work out what the prize is...hahah.

As giving away stuff is good, I'm joining in the fun. What's up for grabs? This little pile o'stuff, mostly 70's vintage-y:

• little 1970's mousie notepaper set (this was thrifted, so it doesn't have the original amount of notepaper and envelopes in it) ...still extremely cute
• for kitteh lovers, a vintage set of Avon soaps shaped like kittys in stockings "Furry Purry and Scurry"...you know you want this!
• a Ladybird book for reading or arty-crafty-farting with
• a thrifted decorative plate that also has extreme cuteness value and says "Consider Yourself Loved" (stamped 1978)
• a pack of Japanese Pinky chewing gum (which is thankfully not vintage)
  and crafted by yours truly at Brown Owls:
• a white men's sized hand-stiched owl design handkerchief
